Gary Davidson August 9th 2015 ~ A Tug of the Heart

A Tug Of The HeartA month ago when Paul Gill emailed me saying that he had a publisher for his book but that he could only afford half the the money to get it done, I had a tug of the heart.I knew instantly that God would find the extra money and would get Paul to Sydney to launch his book. How did I know? Why was I so sure? I don't know. But what I do know is that I had a tug of the heart!Over the intervening weeks I worried, fretted and doubted but as God tugged other hearts -pouring out His generosity through His people - I dared to believe that He would be as good as His word ( to me and others).."I will provide".."Fear not!"... "Don't be afraid!"Meanwhile, our ramshackle prayer support group kept coming up with answers every week.Paul, too, was getting messages, especially in a dream where the Lord said to him, "This is a good thing you are doing. You are speaking for some of the most disadvantaged in our society - prisoners."It was a conversation accompanied by a strong impression that this work would improve the lot of all prisoners.Over the next few weeks, watch with astonishment as God tugs other hearts and ‘sells’ Paul's plainly-spoken account of what our prisons are really like.To witness His faithfulness will be a blessing to us all.Gary Davidson
