Church Planting

God has given us the opportunity to help launch 5 new churches in Australia and abroad as well as a school, called St Philip’s Academy, with 250 children in Kenya.

The Common

James Duff was sent out from St Philip’s to plant a church with the mission of ‘calling the City of Melville back to God by living common lives’.

It has been our joy to partner with James in this gospel venture on many levels: providing expertise, finances, prayer and encouragement.

Kalobeyei, Pochalla, Okadi

Our work with refugees from South Sudan has led to a strong partnership in the gospel as well as the planting of three churches called ‘St Philips’ - one in Kenya (Kalobeyei), and two in South Sudan (Pochalla & Okadi). St Philip's Academy (Kalobeyei) has 250 students along with 8 teachers. By God’s grace the work is flourishing as we continue to provide encouragement and support.

The Incubator

The Incubator is a two-year program to serve, train, and develop church planters and ministers in Australia and around the world. A number of leaders from St Philips and The Common have been engaged in this gospel-centred training program.

St Matthews Guildford

Katrina Holgate has shared much of her formative ministry development at St Philips, but now she leads a pioneering opportunity in the old suburb of Guildford.  We support this community financially, with ministry resources and prayer.
