St Philips has won the award “Community Group of the Year”

An award by the Town Cottesloe in conjunction with the National Australia Day Council, for our Carols By Candlelight Event in December 2011

It will be presented at the Australia Day Awards 2012 – a joint event with Peppermint Grove and Town of  Mosman Park.

This is fantastic achievement and all credit to a superb and dedicated team, from those who co-ordinated the event, to those who sang, danced, acted, ushered, welcomed, set up stage, ran security, to the playgroup kids who had fun on stage. (And the rest).

All friends and family of the Carols team (i.e. St Philips +) are invited, so come along and show your support. John and Ellie Macpherson, and Gary Davidson will accept the award on behalf of the team, but they would love you all to come along.

The awards start at 8:00am, are at the Memorial Park in Mosman Park (corner of Bayview Tce and Memorial Drive).

They will take ~1.5 hours and are followed by a community BBQ and family entertainment.
